Prozack Maurice's adventure began in 2005, when Eric Duriez, Drummer of Nietsche Buchannon, a french progressive, improvised music band, decided to make some noise, after purchasing his first effect pedal. he tried to plug anything to this distortion pedal: electronic drums, contact mics, other pedals, etc.

The sound is exclusively made from voice, body sounds, and feedback, following the words of futurist artist Luigi Russolo's manifesto, "the art of noises".

Official releases include 2 splits: 4 noise priesters, and a split with other french noisician Ecoute La Merde, both released in 2008.

His first live performance happened at Le Tunnel Bar, in Metz, France.
