Re: Set Ups, Methodology & Experiments
More cunt setups: cunt3555558094_e224b7352d.jpg This one in particular really inspired me back about a decade ago-onwards: he's basically shorting tip to sleeve with various bits of metal to get "chunking" noises (that's how he put it IIRC). It's a primitive yet underused technique; opened...

Re: Set Ups, Methodology & Experiments
YES I really liked this guy’s setups. I have more of his stuff: I’ll post it later in the evening if I remember. He posted stuff on bandcamp under the name of (ironically) Indeterminate.

Re: Xdugef Engine
Lol the second I saw this up on Facebook I knew you’d post it here, too.
What pedals are in it, exactly? And can you 3d print with metal now? I know you can 3d print weird shit like food powder but I’m still clueless.

[FS] Zoom H4 Handy Recorder (For parts only) $40
Zoom H4 Handy Recorder, for parts only. Mics work okay but the inputs only record half of a waveform; I was planing on fixing it someday, but I've long since bought a replacement and at this point, it's simply not worth the effort. Asking $40 PPD anywhere in the 48 states OBO.

Re: Build Shit - DIY - What's On Your Bench?
Plus I like being able to do shows without needing a pickup truck to haul my own gear *cough*crochambeau*cough* still, it’s not entirely off the table. I mean, it's heavy, but I don't need (or have access to) a truck or a van. Huh, I could’ve sworn you had mentioned once bringing like a 6ft. tall r...

Re: Build Shit - DIY - What's On Your Bench?
I can't help but think of how excellent your mods/build would look in a modular Euro-type rack. I’ve definitely flirted with the idea, but retrofitting it all would be a Herculean task. Plus I like being able to do shows without needing a pickup truck to haul my own gear *cough*crochambeau*cough* s...

Re: Build Shit - DIY - What's On Your Bench?
Could be a need for chamfering an edge or cutting sprue or flash on the button cap - or it could be that the "pocket" the button cap rides in is overlarge and needs some guides or also has some flash or sprue that is acting like a catch. I swear, every time you reply to a post I made, my ...

Re: Build Shit - DIY - What's On Your Bench?
Alright, this will be the last 'big one' for the year, possibly for a while: dexbby2023-1-overview.jpg Another circuit-bent white noise machine, though one of the higher end models from what I've seen: you can't visit any thrift store around my neck of the woods without spotting at least one of thos...

Re: Toronto Noise
Probably not on this board, but you’ll have no problem finding noise in Canada. Can’t speak for specific cities, though.

You roll your own enclosures from sheet metal, right?
