At the time I grabbed this screenshot it was simply a cool thing for a decent price. Now I could plant it in the recent acquisition thread, but I had already started to reply before I left to buy.
When in doubt, add resistance.

I just own the one S2000 that I picked up the other day, my very first interaction with this model. Though it can be argued that the MPC 2000xl that I have owned for decades runs the same topology, there are operational differences - the MPC pretty much acts like a drum machine while the S acts more like a synth.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Meatbox - $185
Add an ODB-3 and you can have a good
time exploring speaker excursion. (See below.)

You know what, I actually tried this infamous “cone shredder” combo of yours recently and was left unimpressed. Am I missing something? I tried obd3 into meatbox & vice-versa: is there a preferred order?

It's about a 45 minute drive, so I requested a hold on it, hopefully that does not put me out of the running.

The Cone Shredder nom de plume came about from destroying low wattage speakers.
Speaker excursion is a lovely thing. Use the ODB after the Meatbox.
