Re: Noise lair, synth dungeon, bedroom, shop, lab, etc.
Cheers, cheers.
It was a lot of effort and planning, in part due to laziness and insisting on working around the sketchy Pyle rackmount powerstrip's annoying captive power cord, instead of just pulling it and the stand down like I should have. This made the whole job so much harder (and messier) than it needed to be, but I finally got (mostly) everything patched in and (mostly) functional, save for a few minor things:

It has been a long time since I had things this this put together. Mainly just need to get another power supply unit to power all my modular stuff to the left and sort out what's going on with my MIDI hub/matrix for my sound modules to the right of my PC. Hoping it's not bricked. I've mostly made peace with the nightmare of cable spaghetti draped up and down the walls behind everything.

Truth be told, it is a better MIDI implementation overall, but the MIDINES has been with me for ages, and it has so many inexplicable/bizarre samples (1987 GI Joe animated movie, random king-fu noises... Star Trek, I think?) baked into its sample bank, I could never replace it. Eventually, I want to mod the NES for direct output also.
PS: If these images are really huge in desktop browsers, I'm sorry. Imgur decided they want to push a shitty mobile-centric experience exclusively a long time ago, and trying to remember how to modify URL's to change the size is a big hassle since they've made simply locating BBCode/resize links impossible.

It is. I have a second one just for normal use, but this one has a direct output mod and dedicated Famimimidi cartridge to accompany my MIDINES:

Full frontal of the modular system on the left please.
Bravo on the Peavey Univerb.
Front panel menu, what a concept.
