Roughly 18 inch square steel sheet with a couple transducers driven by LM384 amps, plus three contact mics on the underside. Corners have bumpers to keep a hexbug from getting stuck in the angle. Built into a crusty box fan housing.

When in doubt, add resistance.

More of a resonant metallic surface/feedback machine. The bends in the metal really stifle the decay & bloom one tends to look for in a reverb. It will do short, metallic confined space type of reverberations, but nothing really spacious on the audio side. No thunderous low end rumble.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Well done. I have a thing for machines and/or devices that
resonate. Everything is a matter of degree though.

I would love to hear one of these, angry.

I aspire to plate reverb. Probably won't get much farther than a DIY build, but one of these days I'll allocate a full sheet of material in order to play.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Excellent.

I do love some string reverb.
