not sure if any of you will find it that much enticing
but stumbled upon an ad for this thing
and found it just too damn funny to not post here
a korg 4-track boombox with a built in guitar processor :)

imo things like that are wolpertingers of audio gear
and wolpertingers are funny

not that i don't like them and wouldn't try to make a record with one if it was availabe, quite the opposite

I have one, super fun and easy to use.
Not what I'd call a boombox, but that might be due to the perspective of the pic.
If it's cheap, it's worth it

Damn, that Akai is awesome - if only it weren't tape based digital.

I wonder if some SSDs could be implemented in a "digital tape machine emulator" fashion.. make use of those early Akai converters. BOOM

hmmm... a guy in my city is selling one for $150 right now
kinda tempted but i already have a fostex 4-track
and also was planning to go full retard and grab a Teac A-3340S
