Enticing and exciting gear photographs

Post by crochambeau »

Let's squirt a little fuel to fire things up. My intent on this thread is not limited to gear you own, just stuff that excites the visual cortex.

Looking for any schematics for that thing, there's an explanation and block diagram here but no real details

It's seems pretty straight forward but I wonder if it's using REAL NOISE ;-) We need a gut shot!

The SME 9500-MCD enables the user to duplicate original micro cassette tapes recorded at 1.2cm up to 16x speed and tapes recorded at 2.4cm at up to 8x speed. No other system in production offers the systems versatility and features. The SME-9500 is an automatic microcassette duplicator that makes one microcassette duplicate from one master without operator intervention ( additional slaves can be added for more than one simultaneous copy). The system is automatic in that it uses only one button to start the duplication process. The system automatically stops both tapes (master & slave) when the copy tape has ended before the master is completed. Once the user inserts an additional copy tape, and presses the start button, the master tape backspaces a few seconds and restarts the recording process. This feature allows for a few seconds overlapping on sequential tapes to allow no loss of conversation.

Saul Mineroff Electronics, Inc. is a sole source manufacturer and supplier of the SME 9500-MCD system to both federal and state law enforcement agencies.

System Features:

Micro Cassette to Micro Cassette High Speed Tape Duplication
Tapes recorded at 1.2cm can be converted to 2.4cm at 16x or 8x speed
Tapes recorded at 1.2cm can be duplicated to 1.2cm at 8x speed
Tapes recorded at 2.4 cm can be converted to 1.2cm at 4x or 8x speed
Tapes recorded at 2.4cm can be converted to 2.4 cm at 8x speed
Stable low-torque drive mechanisms assures no damage to original tapes.
Special Synchronization circuit allows for no loss of conversation during duplication process when more than one copy tape is needed while duplicating tapes from 1.2cm to 2.4cm.
Monitoring of high speed audio through speaker or earphone jack
Simple Operation

There was another one floating around (not sure if same manufacturer) that could dub two at a time, but you canxe2x80x99t beat 8x speed. I have my doubts about fidelity.
