Ooof. I'm at critical mass and I'd still probably be on that like dogshit on a soccer ball.

I find that sort of stack becomes rodent condominiums in my world though, at least so long as my cat remains useless.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Wicker grill Boogies really capture a mood in history, I've always wondered how acoustically transparent that grill design is. In my mind's ear, there is something of a "whizzzzzzzz" to the sound as the woven lattice is excited.

Anyway, here's my reverb/mix effect stack /slash/ window dressing:

I have had to go inside every single piece of equipment pictured, on some of them - numerous times.
When in doubt, add resistance.

I had 2 wicker grill MKII-Bs. The 2nd one got I pulled the speaker and chassis and mounted them into separate cabinets. That amp fucking BLOOMED. Adding a closed back to the speaker cabinet turned into an unholy terror. A MKII-B on a Marshall cabinet with 2 EVs and 2 Celestions is just a ridiculously great combination. 100 watts of pure fuckallyall. For a short time when I lived in a dorm I made it clear that if a volume /SPL battle is what you wanted you would find out quickly that you most certainly did not.

I stilll would like to have a MKII-B Coliseum with a 15" EV. 180 watts of glory.

I want (to make) a stone lithophone. I love some of the sounds that come out of these. Maybe not as big as this one. Is this "gear"? Probably not. But to me at least, it is exciting and enticing.

Fuck that guy. I actually worked on a few of those when they were WAY past past their
officially supported service life. Shame it is just used for cool credits.

"The tape mechanism is decoration only and does not function. DC motors, blinking LEDs and audio streaming(vintage computer sound samples) are run by an Arduino board inside the control unit on top of the cabinet."
