PortiaPorcupineFan wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 11:23 am There is no way in hell that I could attempt to haul around that 2x12 Peavey. Hell, when I bought that Behringer amp, I pushed the box down the hallway to my bedroom and then, I unboxed it. Getting the damn thing out of the box was a total bitch.
have some Behringer "wedge" amp keyboard thingy with EQ... got it free...
maybe Ultrabass or something like that...
Kitcat used it for scratching post(furry) until they learned to fly for doing that...
GF was using it with Roland MC307&Laptop...

Built this from a kit I bought in Akihabara one Xmas Eve when I lived in the Tokyo Megopolis.
I needed a low power stereo amp for my guitar rig that could deliver the right amount of oomph without sounding clinical. The 6L6's - SRT-415 or 420 tubes shown here were one of the endless combinations of tubes I tried seeking sonic bliss. Running low and hot each side delivered 2.5 watts of single ended glory. Ultimately the best compliment was Tung Sol 5881's and an Amperex Bugleboy. The amp handled 4, 8 &16 ohm loads with no fucks given. It was a tough bastard. Small room duty pushing either a 2x10", 2x12" or Marshall 4x12" split stereo 2x12" in a heavy stereo effects signal chain. A low power Hi-Fi amplifier mind you.

My dumbass sold it of course.
