We got those S&S's in at my workplace. I was really intrigued when I saw them, and curious about the possibilities too. I decided against taking the plunge on one, because they mark everything up too much at work, and I was afraid it'd be something totally unbendable. Please do report back if/when you have a chance to poke around in yours.

Welp turns out that the circuitry is modern.. the voice isnt even the same as the original.

Looks like most of the circuit is black blobbed

Not the least bit surprised, it would probably cost 100 times as much to make them the old fashioned way.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Curiosity got the best of me.. I suppose there's still chance of a pitch bend or a shit shot but nothing nearly as granular as the original.. well at least we know doh
