Re: Ugly, Weird, Crazy pedals
I watched a few of this guy's videos. I really love the hand gestures he does in some of them. He gets really into the sounds. Anyway, I think this is what you get when you cross ultra-cheap toy keyboards made in China ca. 1996 with eurorack modules. I am in love.
Genuinely wanting one for some reason, but I'm worried it'll just arrive broken, and I don't think the seller supplies a power cable with it, which just = more expensive (the conversion rate for GBP to USD always stings). I've got to be careful with my spending until next month because my checking account is down to something like $50 right now. :]

Re: Ugly, Weird, Crazy pedals
Wish I had the time + space to make some whole high-concept eurorack system using only modules by unknown ebay-selling UK eurorack brands. Would be unreasonably huge and very unbalanced ha

Re: Ugly, Weird, Crazy pedals
I'm probably going to regret this later, but I ordered one of those Dance Beetz modules...
At the same time, I ordered a really ugly, disconcertingly inexpensive silent electronic violin (there are even uglier designs than this, though) to put towards working on a concept album I've been considering for a while, tentatively titled Switched-On Zann.
I'm starting to think, perhaps I should've just gone all the way and ordered one in bright red... They didn't have any available in a nice, rich, forest-y blue-green. fiddle
I'm also thinking it might be beneficial to buy an acoustic one, for proper violin screeches.
