Using a lot of devices at the same time is not a good idea, i know from my own experience.
You forget a lot, you are nervous and in the end the result is bad. The best option is either to create two chains on the table, each will be responsible for a specific sound. But to focus on a specific sound and squeeze out all the possibilities, itxe2x80x99s better to use fewer pedals.
For example, to use a shaker, 5-6 pedals are enough: Microphone or Sheyker + Boss Pitch Shifter, MASF Raptio (or KORG Kaoss Mini Pad for GLITCH), Artec Parametric EQ, DOD Death Metal, (+ Boss MT-2 for loud distortion), Boss Noise Suppressor -- Speaker.
You can improvise with a combination, but that was enough for me to get what i wanted.
