The Mysterious Creep wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 10:18 am Eurorack type mixers seem to be most of the active ones I find. Which aren't great, because I want to keep this as simple as possible. Just a box with 16 knobs, 4 1/4 inputs and 4 1/4 outputs, no control voltage or weird mini jacks or polarity switches or any other synth stuff. And they're pricey and small to boot!

I have no electronics or mechanical knowledge, so building one myself is pretty much out of the question.

So far waiting for the Pladask to be back in stock still seems like the best option.
Be warned, their stuff seems to sell out pretty quick. Sometimes they have ballots for new products because the demand is so high. Get on the mailing list and keep an eye out.

https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/8093911 ... ive-matrix This is the same Eurorack one I have, tho i built mine from panel + pcb. It's decent tho due to being DC coupled / modules inverting the signal/ or something else, not all modules feed back properly, however I made some cables with a capacitor in them and that seems to get things going

Just got my Matrise today, already very satisfied. Gonna take some time to get the routing down, though, it's getting complex. Also gonna need more patch cables.
Even if you took a few years and learned all the chords you'd still have a limited number of options. If you ignore the chords your options are infinite and you can master guitar playing in one day. - David Fair

Congrats! It's an excellent bit of kit.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Spied this listed as non-functional, might be worth the gamble for a 16 input 12 output matrix: https://reverb.com/item/62436354-hear-t ... ed-cg00mfy

I'm sure the church can be washed out of it.
