That shit looks like a royal pain in the ass to work with.

If I ever get to that point, someone just start me on an LSD diet and be done with it!

Huh.. so I guess the reason its wavy is so that the insulation isn't completely touching it.. because that does something? Lol

I'd like to give the coat hanger test to some of the reviewers and people who gave glowing compliments to this cable.

Does it light up like that or that just for the ad?

If it doesn't glow that makes it double Bullshit.
If it lights up well thats neato.

Also if the inner cable isn't sealed with inert gas\fluid that any benefit you would gain from that 'wave' design is lost due to photonic resistance due to oxidation in the plain atmospheric air in the inner section of the cable...everybody knows that.

My guess is that the wavy conductor has just enough inductance to form up a tuned tank to encourage picking up the local AM Jesus station.

Okay I'll split my aces:

When they were available $485 was the entry price.

"Dynamics are better and overall naturalness is improved. Here is a test for all you Silver Rock owners. Try removing the bakelite knobs and listen. You will be shocked by this! The signature knobs will have an even greater effectxe2x80xa6really amazing! The point here is the micro vibrations created by the volume pots and knobs find their way into the delicate signal path and cause degradation (Bad vibrations equal bad sound). With the signature knobs micro vibrations from the C37 concept of wood, bronze and the lacquer itself compensate for the volume pots and provide (Good Vibrations) our ear/brain combination like to hearxe2x80xa6way better sound!!"

My TOP SECRET audiophile sauce is to take the absolute worst ringing ceramic caps and generally shitty resonant components and place them in the negative feedback path of an audio approved opamp. It simply subtracts that shit.

I remember telling "Yngwie" that ceramic disc life is the way to go. I proceeded to use a variation on a theme of your comment to explain why silver mica, polyester, silver foil on paper in oil, et. al. capacitors can't do proper justice to the inaudible harmonic content that ceramic disc caps do.

Felt a bit guilty when I got into psycho-acoustics and veered into Jimi Hendrix using molded coiled cords.
Plus he wore a SWANS t-shirt.

Anyway, submitted for your approval:
