Personally I prefer the classic basic garbage truck. As far as noise goes garbage trucks are near the top of the list.

I've wanted to buy one of these for a longtime now. There were a couple I'd see around SF when I lived there. I had two early 70s mercedes sedans that shared the same gas engine that fit in these from the same era. I parted out one of them and sold the engine to some guy who drove from Colorado with a chain lift and helped him remove the engine. The sedan we moved it from had all the paint removed so it was all rusty and one of the spark plug mounts was stripped so it'd occasionally blow the plug out while driving and then the engine sounded like a machine gun. Good times. I cried when I had to get rid of the other sedan.
