Honestly, I'd rather have three 100-120 watt heads than one 400 watt amp that needs to have three cabinets (unless output transformer is changed, ugh). It is a cool amp for sure, but not the best fit for me I guess.

Here's my Traynor YBA3 that is languishing in under bench storage at the moment, that old underwear is there to assist in "slide along the floor" factor, very important with heavy beasts.

I was tied to a 3 channel system with 100 watts per pushing EV's for several years.


Nugent had a backline of 6 Super Twin Reverbs parked on 6 Dual Showman cabinets.
Respectable 180 watt output.
