I’ll probably build up a basic fuzz circuit at some point & just swap them in & out to see what happens.
In hindsight, seeing as these came from a guy primarily involved with radio applications, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up being less than optimal for frequencies below a few hundred kHz at least.
I also got an assortment of ICs, diodes, vintage caps, reed switches and other esoteric crap: I’m sure some of it will be useful but, man, what the hell am I going to do with 1,500 zener diodes?
Don't sell yourself short. It's a cool lot of stuff from the sound of it.
My saying transistors are just transistors does not negate any of the super cool shit that transistors do. You just have to interact with the old stuff with a level of intent is all.
Zener diodes can be quite useful, what voltages are they? Something like a 3 volt zener can be a wildly asymmetric clipping diode, etc. Under-rated device and function in my opinion.

Might be worth checking with Syntaur. Honestly it would not surprise me if the plastic keys used in the CZ-1000 were the same as the full sized keys used in various home keyboards Casio produced. The feel and look of keys between my CZ-1000 and Casiotone CT-102 are identical.
If you're not in a huge rush I can check over my stock of Casio keyboards and if I have a full sized key version that proves inoperable surgery can happen. Most of my stuff is smaller, and I'm not cutting up anything that works. (so: no promises I can help).

RTV is a no-no for securing components. Because
the caps have broke free from the chassis. Leads
