Flotsam, Jetsam & detritus from multiple toolboxes, drawers and random boxes.
Not a New Year resolution but this organization is long over due in getting my workspace in order.

I have a stack of actual builds I need to churn through, but am this instant doing KiCad work on PCB level stuff because I need to integrate some refinements before replenishing boards.

Well, tear down, rust removal on the sawhorses outside.
Then to the bench.

Currently fabricating a steel bench for my garage! Got a vice to bolt to it.

Am making it "flat pack" as am planning to move this year.

This is an Arduino based quantizer. There's still some finetuning and calibrating to do.

New to my bench, a Tektronix 7633.

Horizontal deflection is completely out of whack (non-existent), though the time base appears active in that it will alternate input on the dual trace amplifier. I was dismayed to observe that while I could get a vertical deflection on the screen, and watch it oscillate on/off that the vertical output tap (which was running into an amplifier) did not also shut off while the trace was off, sort of scuttling my tremolo/electronic switch dreams.

Makes a beautiful guitar fuzz though, another benchmark to beat I suppose.

Dual-555 APC with photo resistors, housed in a soup can. First time working with Vero board and it went a lot smoother than expected, though the final product is slightly less fun than it was on the breadboard. The biggest challenge was finding a way to mount the 9v battery and Ixe2x80x99m still not quite satisfied with my solution (zip ties and snug fit). Live and learn.
