LogoRok's DIY Lunetta Modular

Post by logorok »

Hi folks,

by public request viewtopic.php?f=6&t=177#p2096 I'm going to make a little thread about my Lunetta synth.

This is just the opening post, I'm going to post pictures and other stuff little by little.

Lot's about Lunettas is already told here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=178

Feel free to ask, go to my website http://modular.haebbmaster.de/ in the meantime (lots of other cool stuff too, even drawings ...), follow the links in my signature and stay tuned!

So here for some pictures

Beautiful

Gut shots for the sake of content here would be very welcome as well.

Baby 10 sequencer. It's just a CMOS 4017 circuit. Look for schematics on "the internet"

Eye actually originally used nails and alligator clips in my 70s PAIA modular with pin connectors...
sort of preferred doing that in some ways stacking CV yet doing 3.5mm standard anymore...
was so much easier making up massive amount of alligator patch cables...
not as if can't find one fast around here anymore when need it:P

hmmm have a bunch of those same red&black knobs using up now on modules...
just ordered more chips for Lunetta modules...
building yet another case with sufficient regulated power supply...
BTW: Your DIY wood face modular synth system is BEAUTIFUL.

OOPS your Black Cat on DIY Lunetta Modular synth may have shrunk in some dimensions during the process!!!?
No animals were harmed in making this image...
looked at both and wondered how close the perspectives would match

Thank you, guys!

Just a little bio now:

When I was a child, my grandpa and I did electronics with philips kits

I also had a Kosmos kit

Problem as a kid ist, you can't do the hardware work like building cases etc. But we etched our own pcbs.

After school I studied physics and since that I work as a software developer.

When we moved to your new house in 2000 I tried to build a synth in my cellar

But a cellar is not very romantic, dirty, cramped, there's sawdust and so on
So I stopped it until 2016, when my kids moved away I occupied one of the rooms as my cave.

that's how it looks now
