One of Page Hamilton's 4x12" EVM loaded Harry Kolbe cabinets.
Heavily braced and rated at 800watts.

2x12" Thiele Cabinet.
Rear views are of a quick build. My observations here scream not rigid and tight enough.
This design is decidedly for an EVM 12L speaker and those speakers open up quite a bit when pushed hard.
The speaker doesn't need any coloration from the wood.

Tone is where you find it. Celestial alignment, particle board and Radio Shack all played a part in this small portion of sonic bliss. The thick, home – brew funk of awesome oozes from this cabinet. A 15″ Realistic speaker handles the bottom, an 8″ Utah with whizzer cone takes the mids, a 6″ x 2″ Realistic horn pushes the highs all fed by a crossover of similar provenance. The box itself is 24″w x 25 3/4″h x 12″d still partially covered in simulated woodgrain paneling contact paper. Remnants of the burlap grill cloth speak to the purity of spirit of this cabinet. Fiberglass insulation and foam rubber sums the equation.
The builder possessed great Kung Fu.

This cabinet sounded amazing with a Tremolux.

Experiment in cardboard. There are a few challenges involved with the Trace Elliot 3x12SC.
The speaker baffles will be fun.
