Fidget Spinner CV control / tremolo

This pedal I've built, works great as a simple tremolo, but will it also work as this does: https://youtu.be/l-1Jqaa83tA?si=c283upwxrqaXjR9x&t=48 for modulation of CV control?
I don't have a modular synth to try it with.
