It surprises me how much his real-life speech patterns and mannerisms remind me of some of my own. The poorly-enunciated mumbling. The chronic inability to project. Trailing off, failing to complete thoughts. Occasionally breaking off into tangents that are easier to regurgitate on auto-pilot while trying to "perform" socially. Probably frantically searching for the right words in a chaotic mental jumble half the time... "Just, like, yew'kneaux......" Textbook "guy quietly freaking out".
