I cannot feel it at all, despite it being more or less my idea of what cool music was, until about 23 (so 2004). any help getting into this music genre?

Welcome back .

Funnily enough, just yesterday I was listening to a 2003 set from Technical Itch. Pretty good.

Can't say I've listened to much modern d_b though. I kinda lost interest when Pendulum arrived.

The autonomic half step stuff by D Bridge and Instra:mental was really fun, 70 / 80bpm generally. A nice switch up. Pretty chilled I'm glad dB has evolved a bit although as with all genres there is still a lot of dross.

the technical itch mix is r good... have seen them live; maybe it's just more difficult to do high energy / fun dnb, now, that is collapses into some generic bombast way too much. everyone get's jaded, etc....

Hah yeah that tracks funny. The "deep like titanic" line became a meme between me and my mates for a while. Same thing happened with dubstep, Caspa & Rusko turned it into a comedy genre.

Current Value has a few bangers in amongst his vast discography.
