Last eating out bad food experience for me was at an Asian place in Columbia Missouri.
Got general tso chicken and it was brown sauce(should be red) and the chicken was mostly gristle and greasy as hell. Ate one or two bites and gave the rest to the guy at the record store who has lower food standards than I do

My buddy got some pork belly dish that was strips of chewy pork that he said was pretty good...to me it was like spicey pork chewing gum!

An old drinking buddy who grew up in Indiana once took it upon himself to introduce me to the "Hoosier Whizzer".

We wandered down to the local dirty market, and he took it upon himself to buy the absolute cheapest ingredients to make the things, for "authenticity" as he put it.

I seem to recall off brand Spam, store brand saltines, and Miracle Whip.

I recall the assembly of this so called food item was such that the altogether too robust layer of Miracle Whip was situated in between the firmer ingredients, so if you were to try taking a bite instead of scoffing the entire thing in one go it would ejaculate warm Miracle Whip onto the tonsils.

I've sort of based my entire perception of that state on that single culinary achievement.

Vile and backwards.

A Massachusetts construction workerxe2x80x99s love of black licorice wound up costing him his life. Eating a bag and a half every day for a few weeks threw his nutrients out of whack and caused the 54-year-old manxe2x80x99s heart to stop, doctors reported Wednesday.

xe2x80x9cEven a small amount of licorice you eat can increase your blood pressure a little bit,xe2x80x9d said Dr. Neel Butala, a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital who described the case in the New England Journal of Medicine.

I love black licorice.
