Tremendously harsh as before, but I note a far greater crunch to it compared to Two Colors Black. Has anything substantially changed about the recording setup?

Even if you took a few years and learned all the chords you'd still have a limited number of options. If you ignore the chords your options are infinite and you can master guitar playing in one day. - David Fair

Thanks for the feedback. The tracks were recorded at the same session as "Two Colors Black" but I shot for a little more distortion and pulled up the levels a little more. Plus I added a little post-production this time, with some slight eq-cuts and a bit of compression.
More material is to be recorded soon. Building a couple of basic devices (contact mic, white noise generator, feedback box) that I had back then but sold or lost, so these things will be used in the next session as well for some new textures.
