Broken radio noises in experimental music track

Hope you'll forgive me for sharing my not-strictly-noise experimental project here, but I remain just absolutely delighted by how the broken radio you will hear right from the beginning of this track...



...worked. During the recording process (which did involve a pair of radios) one started sputtering intermittently and fortunately I had a mic ready to go. I think its interaction with the rest of the track worked for what we were after and that the folks here might especially "get" it. Thanks!

[The Mysterious Creep]

Electronics dying often produces great noises. Reminds me of Sonic Youth's Providence with the amp crapping out and the resulting buzz gradually getting louder behind the piano, pretty cool.

I approve of this message. Keep at it.

The radio was my first true noise instrument and still provides possibilities. Always possibilities.
A shirt pocket transistor radio, an improvised antenna and the things that only the night can bring
on the AM dial. Shortwave is fun too.

Thanks for listening all! Love those little transistor radios in your photo, and definitely hear you about the magic of radio. I have a Amateur Radio (Ham) license and while I am mostly inactive, I could listen to the CW (morse code) bands beeping away for hours. Not enough to have learned the code yet though!

[Fire of the Mind]

Gives me some of the same vibes of nocturnal rain and stillness as Barraquxc3xa9's Sonata or certain EAI, albeit a little more aggressive and Expressionistic. Is "pretty" the wrong word? I think "lovely" at least suits it, although I do think it could be a bit more refined to better evoke the sombre streetlights-on-wet-cobblestones feel.

Again, not Noise Proper, but noisy with a lot of feedback. The rhythmic voice is also feedback, shaped by a triggered low pass gate.
