Story time:
So some close friends of mine got me a couple of books for Christmas, one of them being Michael Tau's Extreme Music: Silence to Noise and Everything In Between.
That name sounded vaguely familiar to me; I remember shooting a few emails back & forth with the guy like six years ago, talking about Dictafawn and microcassettes.
Well, imagine my surprise when I found out I'm in this fucking book!
You'll find a dramatic reenactment of my shock & awe in the attached image.
And here's the really crazy part: my friends didn't even know I was in the book,
so by pure goddamned coincidence they just happened to gift me a book about a subject Im interested in,
where I myself appear in said book talking about that same subject (albeit in a very small contribution).
Blurred-out the article here since I'm not sure Mr. Tau would mind or not if I shared it.
Truthfully, looking back at what I wrote up, I could've been a lot less bitter towards you guys (the old blue board forum ins't mentioned by name but still).
A very happy holiday indeed!
