look, i was just saying -- facetiously (fwiw) -- that the goal of hinduism is peace, in the same way that the goal of christianity is getting into heaven and hanging out with your crucified God.

As for Buddhism for some its not regarded as a religion.... it lacks interest in transcendentalism, and even self salvation. i.e. it seeks to get off the bus, not discover anything about it or where it might be going.
