how do you make a noise song? is there even such a thing? something industrial? if you don't make songs, are you just trying to control chaotic processes and hoping no-one notices?

do you ever try to control your mood during playing / recording, in the hope that what you make sounds more polished?

Yeah that's kinda what I do. I have a vague idea, I start with a loop or a sample, I let things go with feedback or weird clocks and see what happens but I don't mind if it sounds like I'm obviously trying to control things.

No way, mood controls sound every time

I patched a benjolin to sound a bit like your setup, this evening. jammed for a while, thought it was too much fun to leave, so went to record it... four seconds of fiddling nd farting noises later, I gave up :D

another amusing event was 20 seconds of gradually quieter noise, which I recorded yesterday.
it sounds so epic / pathetic :D
