To all my noise doods out there, what other genres do you listen to/make?
Me personally, I'm all over the place. I have around 60% of my discography devoted to noise, and the other 40% just spread around towards rock, punk, metal, and even dabbling in rap, and as I make more, that percentage is going to change of course.
As far as listening, I like noise, metal, rap, dubstep (on occasion), rock, emo, emoviolence, industrial, ska, etc.

i was into hiphop in my early teens. for about a year i was a total music failure, listened to entertaining electronica. then techno, house and dnb -- bought a few records. then i got a bit avant garde, and now i'm always noisy. but that's already been covered really. genres are stupid. you basically have: EDM, which is for stupid people; punk, which is for people that pretend to be stupid; popular music, which is made by stupid people; classical, which makes you stupid; and noise, which is stupid.
i'm about to lose posting privileges again. why not work your way down?
Open a word processor, write your replies, read them, wait10-15 minutes, add anything else that's crossed your mind. Then spell check, cut and paste your reply...
Genre - a style or category of art, music, or literature.
Which? Noise was a category, and has become a (mere) style.
