I slept through it again

My neighborhood sounds like a war zone every New Years and 4th of July.

I read for a few hours went to sleep about 11 pm woke up around 430am and read some more then slept for an hour till 630am fucking ice all day and went to work for no damn reason.

fell asleep 7pm and woken up by fireworks.

has a cigarette - last ever I hope - and went back to sleep.

I struggled my way to 11pm then went to bed, just drifted off then got woke up by sodding fireworks, couldnt get back to sleep, watched some telly, finally back to sleep but my son woke up before 6am so I felt awful NY Day.

Actually used to feel better when I would go to the pub, hit a nightclub until 5am then stay up NY Day. I miss those days. But hey, also love my family.
