V/A - Plastic Bag: A HNW Tribute to Vomir
I had a go at making HNW and it's ended up on the digital portion of this new compilation. There is even a track by Vomir himself on there.
38 tracks, over 3 hours long (yeah baby, all tracks are 5 minutes long! Short Noise Wall rides again!).
This was actually fun to put together, so I might do some more. My first effort I hated and I spent ages EQing it to fuck without much love. The track that ended up on here I liked more. If I listen again I may hate it, but there you go.
[Note: produced under my Postman Lomu alter-ego]

well, I guess it would be weird if a tribute track turned out being better than the real deal. Let's just assume that the track ID's didn't get swotched in the upload.

more seriously: it's HNW the nichiest fashion/trend music genre internally?

I mean yeah of course it's totally niche. But is it trendy? Well trends tend to wax and wane or disappear completely.... HNW has been around for a while now yeah? Probably comes and goes in popularlity, I mean, i'm no expert.... but it was good to be able to work on a track and get it on this compilation.
[insider knowledge: I actually built in some slight modulation and "easter eggs" into the track - lol? Anyway... I guess my response to the "no dynamics" thing.
Also, the curator of the compilation named all the tracks and mine was called NO POLITICS which I quite like because politics sucks balls]
