rare/esoteric noise pictures, releases, stories, knowledge, etc

This type of music tends to challenge the distinction that is made in conventional musical practices between musical and non-musical sound.

None of these, no. I have plenty of other MDRR releases but none of them nearly as extravagant.

That's from a solo art exhibit DMS put on in 2018: he's the same guy behind Mansfield Deathtrap Re-Recordings, but you should already know that much. IIRC he was graduating with degree in communications (i.e. radio) and set up a good chunk of his releases in a student showcase area. Fun fact: driving out there (Whitewater) got me my first speeding ticket. Beyond that, your guess is good as mine. DMS tends to seek out unusual packaging to repurpose as art objects, perhaps impulsively so; the content of the recordings therein rarely seems to matter.
