I'll probably somehow get blamed for all of this...whatever all this is.
Edit...Social_Drift
I sent Luke an email inviting him to the forum but I told him it's moderated so... haven't heard back from him yet
I'll admit I ducked out of most of the end times mayhem at noiseguide because it was fucking tedious and I have enough real world struggles as it is. So while I acknowledge that there was way too much edgelord assholery, shitposting, and abrasive time wasting I'm not entirely up to date on the details of the drama (nor do I want a recap, thanks).
That said, Social_Drift is under the very acute impression that you have it out for him. We're talking fixation that drives the delusion levels here. Unless this is an artifact of a transitory chemical imbalance, I think it a very safe statement that Social_Drift has no interest or inclination to join a forum situated under your wing.

The only thing I wanted from him was to be a less shitty poster on ng. I tried to negotiate with him a few times but always within a few days he'd be back to it and there was no moderator there so things got out of control. I emailed him and he said he is fine but yeah I doubt he is going to join up here which is also fine. He's on klonk.world which also has moderators and rules despite being run by anarchists

I dig it.
I'm guessing the fabric of his experience is not adhered to the same framework as the fabric of your own. Trifling matter.

Anarchy is not necessarily the absence of order, it is just an inversion of certain subsets of order. Anyone who has lived with an anarchist or played a show at an anarchist house has already seen this first hand. GET OFF MY LAWN still exists, it's just the manner in which it is enforced that becomes fluid.

Sure.. there has to be some sort of structure otherwise a few people end up shit posting the place into oblivion. But you can also strangle a forum to death like maniacs or have terrible moderators like troniks. The whole reason why I created the noisewiki was because Eli who I believe is one of the co-creaters of Klonk.world had made a "noise wiki" from scratch and it had no safeguards and I believe it was BRR who being a prankster I guess just started deleting all the entries. So I decided to make noisewiki.com using something more robust

There were some moderator rights mistakes made at maniacs for sure, I think the problem party bailed after we argued the point, but the damage was done and that place never gained much traction. These days pup has registration unplugged due to bots, so it's in a dusty tailspin.
Hey, I was a troniks moderator! hahahaha. It was set up by section though, so moderation rights were limited to certain areas, and the global parties were certainly cut from the (original) "maniacs only" menu.
I'm cautiously optimistic that this place will give a proper bloom..

heh you were the only good one!
Thanks! I'd argue that Moribund was also good, and there were some decent people in the region sections. But the main trunk was fairly shagged and wanted to maintain a "locals only" (or "old boys club") type of mentality.
