I think that the thanks should be time based so if some wiseacre goes and likes everypost from the last 2 or 3 months that won't count. They should be 'real'.

example

lets say user A commets this:

"yo yo yo muthaphuka heres what i think you should name those funky fresh 4 trax!

track 1 - googee poopoo
track 2 - aaaaaaa
track 3 - frimbo
track 4 - sky noise"

now lets say that this user A got 20 likes for this post


now my friend lets look at user Bs comment

"ello govnah ow ya goin? eers me idea for ya noise track yea?

track 1 - pumbutter todder banks
track 2 - clopper fountin snoffer
track 3 - tiddy bonks hon hooten gobble
track 4 - god save the queen"

now lets say this user B got 30 likes for this post



logicaly user B would win because he has more likes
