Last time I emailed him he was pretty prompt in reply. I think dad mode has re-routed a lot of his "spare time" attentions, not that he was heavy on spare time to begin with.
I think Sirkut development is still underway (I want to say modular format was the last focal point), it's just not a driving force to make him visible at the moment. It's been the better part of a year, but I think if someone wants something built he'll still take projects on a build to order basis. Sounded like he was doing well.
