I love me some Drone, but there's definitely noisier Drone out there. Early 2000's lo-fi noise stuff has a lot of drone crossover, I can't get enough of that sound (Double Leopards and Yellow Swans being the ones that immediately spring to mind).
Even if you took a few years and learned all the chords you'd still have a limited number of options. If you ignore the chords your options are infinite and you can master guitar playing in one day. - David Fair

Oh sure, I remember.
Great projects and a great era for sure (good old days)..but those projects are musically more complex than STM

Some of my favs




It could be said that Sustained Tone Minimalism is to Drone what HNW is to Noise :thinking:
