Noise Lore

This type of music tends to challenge the distinction that is made in conventional musical practices between musical and non-musical sound.

I forget which show it was but the small explosion they set off was next to where all the other acts were storing their gear and it also blew out a door. Not really sure if the typical insurance policy would cover this kind of damage anyway.
Did the other bands know they were gonna do this or something like this? Because I'd be righteously pissed if some band I only knew because the promoter threw us on the same bill blew up my gear.
Even if you took a few years and learned all the chords you'd still have a limited number of options. If you ignore the chords your options are infinite and you can master guitar playing in one day. - David Fair

Does anyone remember that video that someone posted on Youtube of himself dropping a huge deuce? He was all kitted out in some edgy leather daddy outfit and pulled his pants down and crapped a big pile before sticking a birthday candle in it. He then proceeded to light the candle before he went to the toilet to wipe and flush (you could hear this going on in the background). It was supposed to be something like an anniversary celebration for some "big-name" scary PE/death industrial project (I cannot remember which, there are so many).

This was some time ago. I think they posted it on Troniks. I should've saved that... :D

I'd say that video sounds like something Bizarre Uproar would do, but I'm pretty sure he's straight so leather daddy doesn't fit his MO.
I have you to thank for discovering Nuit Noire

The "leather daddy" bit was intended to be slightly mocking for that reason. Every straight man who dresses like a Tom of Finland illustration and thinks he looks "macho" (read: "not gay") is fooling themselves. I thought about BU, but I can't be sure. Seems like it was another project, but I can't really say. IIRC, it was some fan-made dedication by someone who ran a label that was putting something out by the artist.

Also, I guess it shouldn't surprise me if I introduced you to NN because I know I used to geek out really hard on it. I forget things like this because my brain has been reduced to alcoholic porridge. :]
Speaking of which, Some of my favorite NN lyrics, and quite relevant:
You watch this beautiful forest
It fascinates you night and day
Just a few steps to go
Could you leave this world?
Join me in the forest
In the shadows

It is really easy to do
No need to be junkie or drunk
Simply forget your body
And feel with your heart
Join me in the darkness
Join me in the night
Join me in the light

I have no recollection of ever seeing that. I'm not a BU fan or really much of a fan of anything related to Mikko Aspa since he's a legit white supremist. Having said that I'm sure BU would love nothing more than to eat a pile of his own crap but the shit with a candle in it sounds a bit too corny.. pun intended.

I'm still trying remember which project jerked off on all the covers of an anti antifa release.

As for leather daddies.. I think that term pretty much means gay. I'm not sure what the rule is but if you are wearing more than leather pants .. especially a vest and a hat you're already an honorary member of the village people. Not that there is anything wrong with any of that.

I had to accept a long time ago that any project that had any mystery as to who was in the project was going to be disappointing when you found out or saw who they actually were.

I'm sure it wasn't BU (though BU are rather corny in their own way, and I don't mean that apologetically).

Anyway, yes. It seemed to fade very quickly and quietly. Didn't really create much hubub outside of the thread it was posted in from what I recall. I seem to be the only one on earth who even recalls it at all. Noise lore status: denied!
