Shamefully cutting and pasting my post from elsewhere:

Scott Lee, one of the last remaining operators at PAiA died. https://modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=297078

I've been been dreading this for a long time, even before the website went down... It figures one of my kits would be missing a resistor once I finally started working on it. The site had gone down around the time I'd noted this. Kind of funny.

Anyway, PAiA is/was a special company, and one of the last of a dying breed of relatively complex but budget-oriented and beginner-focused engineering backed by support and documentation. Very odd design choices and cost-cutting measures everywhere, but they seemed to put a lot of consideration into striking a good balance, such that even idiots like me could put something cool and semi-functional together.

This was the first and last thing he posted on youtube after many years:
I'd hoped he might start sharing more clips, but it's nice to have gotten this much of window into the PAiAverse ca. 2025 anyway.
