Not fleeting...I love the tiny buildings and landscapes that go with model railroading.
The trains are neat but miniature houses and buildings just make me so happy...its nutty

I was going to add 'not so fleeting' xe2x80xa6 are you aware of Rod Stewart
Evidently he makes these whilst in hotels on tour...

Re: Current fleeting interests too
Yea read an article about that recently... so does he have like a semi with the whole thing in it.. i suppose he could work on parts in his room.
Re: Current fleeting interests too
He was on the front cover of "Railway Modeller" or some such - which was odd, from the BBC news it seems he rents adjacent hotel rooms and works on a building at a time. Interesting he chose the USA in the 50s ? or earlier...

For sure. Need more glass crap now. I've claimed a shelf on the floor-to-cieling entertainment center as my own, for bric-a-brac and spun glass and diamond-cut pressed garbage.
I really "appreciate" The Plague Dogs ("love" is a strange word for such a thing), yeah! I never did complete the book (no real reason, except for a criminal lack of focus, though what I did get through had a lighter and more "YA"-oriented tone that doesn't necessarily appeal to me). I don't think I've ever not cried at the end of the film.
Watership Down is a great film as well (Again, bought the book. Never cracked it
). One of those things I remember from childhood, but didn't see again as an adult until a long time later. Made an impression either way. I watched it on TCM in, like, 2015 or 2016 and became suicidally despondent for a prolonged period of time. It got to me in a very strange way, but I suppose I was just in a bad place at the time. This time directly correlates with my obsession with the song "Bright Eyes".
