I sold a bunch of oils I accumulated during my phase trying to design my own fragrance at my yard sale recently. I had one buyer really try to low ball me.. I was like yo this is a brand new $20 bottle of nag champa and she was like this is a yard sale.. I'm like so???RUBBISH wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:05 am I really want this...$16 a bottle and $16 postage. No one in north America has this for some reason.

The nice pretty girl at the local coffee shop has crafted her own version of nag champa and its spot on.
Not sure what oils she used.
She's half my age...well 20 years younger anyhow. She wouldn't stop talking to me and said she liked looking at my face...and oh man...
I'll stop now

Re: Current fleeting interests too
^ I saw one of those "BabyDoppler" devices at a local thrift store about a month or two ago. It caught my eye, right as I was getting ready to leave. I had to buy it, obviously. Hard to get much out of it, apart from heartbeats and vocal cord vibrations, but it makes a lot of noise under running water.
I also bought a DVD copy of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me on that trip.
Earlier (technically yesterday afternoon now), I finally pulled the trigger on ordering a Tiptop Mantis case + a Qu-Bit Nebulae v2 module. So, I spent close to a month's salary on just two items... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Hooray for state sales tax online!
And there's still so much more I need to get to even make any of it truly functional/useful. Thinking about getting a Voltage Block next... Something I can use that will tide me over for a while as I wait for my savings to build back up again.
EDIT: Fuck it. I just ordered a Voltage Block. onfire

Re: Current fleeting interests too
Have been going through boxes that I haven't opened in a long time which of course rekindles all sorts of old interests.
One thing I've been thinking about doing for a long time is a scrapbook or noise bio with ephemera from my noise exploits.
Of course in these boxes are also various electronics projects. One I guess I've decided to try to finish is a nixie clock that uses large alpha numeric tubes to display the time and random four letter words. It needs an enclosure and a motion detector so the tubes turn off when nobody is around. I ordered a motion sensor. I need to setup my 3d printer again which will be a project in itself.
