Installed a new section of gutter outside of the garage and just in the nick of time because it started raining again last night.. seems to be doing a better job at directing the water away from the back wall which was starting to smell musty

Built a sun shade shelter thing at the back of our house. It's a very simple lean-to thing made out of some cheap timber and some sheet metal joiner brackets I knocked out at work.

Summer is coming and I wanted some shade so I can read / make noise outside... Plus somewhere for the kids to play 😀

Pretty proud of how it has turned out actually.

Started digging out our side gate which has decades of dirt built up and trying to install paving stones on a nice sloping grade. Its fucking alot of work and way too much dirt that'll have to get rid of.

Gives me alot of respect for the guys that dug out a 10 foot long trench that went to like 7 feet deep to replace our sewer line. Even though they had an power hammer with a shade bit to help its still amazing they did that in a day, replaced the pipe and filled back in hole.

I left the old concrete base of the crappy conservatory there and chucked a roll of outdoor carpet over the top of it.

Yeah like 50lbs per noise tape would put a dent in it
