Re: Manual labor
I'm a welder in real life, have a fairly manual day at work although parts of it are just stood around scratching myself trying to figure out other peoples problems.

Re: Manual labor
if humans didn't get out and do stuff, we would probably still be in the dark ages or feudal / tribal. No science, innovation, engineering, interconnection.
Hope you never get ill and gave to rely on someone manually helping you at the hospital.

Genesis 3:19
By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.
Makes sense, so still in Eden, yet to eat of the tree of knowledge.

Re: Manual labor
i wasn't saying they serve non purpose for other people. i was suggesting that they are often boring and menial, often badly paid, often low skilled. ever worked on a line? good job at romantisizing your masculinities, but i don't believe any of you are unskilled labourers.
