Finally got this EP from everyone's favorite singer-songwriter:

I've ordered a bunch of CD's this month. Of the ones that've come, this is probably the most exciting for me (just arrived tonight/technically yesternight, I suppose):

Yes, I finally have my very own copy of Tauromachine with no obi, a cracked and terribly scuffed case and hideously yellowed disc tray!

Top 500 Merzbow album, for sure.

+ Rainbow Electronics and Rainbow Electronics 2. Way cool!

And my album of the now, and for the past two weeks:

IDK where the fuck they've been all my life...

The new new autechre album called PLUS is pretty decent. They released another one called SIGN a couple of weeks back that is predominantly ambient synth stuff (but still pretty good just not sitting too well with me yet).

PLUS is a beast of beats, evolving rhythms and crazy sound design. Instantly enjoying it. There is also the use of static / noise that zips around in the stereo space!

The lady at the thrift store gives me the cassette tapes and one of them in the batch she gave me this week is a spyrogyra tape...and a couple aerosmith and Carly simon tape.

Ill listen to the spyrogyra tape and if it sucks to me ill mail it to you.

This band is different (and infinitely better) than the Weather Channel/hold music/interrogation caliber jazz fusion group Spyo Gyra....
whose music I am sadly very familiar with from an old job where the boss would play nothing but cornball jazz fusion all day and night.

Oh, Spirogyra was who I was referencing.
Who, really, is better than Juice Newton?

Ok so like its not even the same band and I was thinking that I'd seen this stupid bands releases all over the place for most of my life and never bothered to listen to them and they could be listenable and I missed out all this time and that's not even the case...fucking wow...wast-oid!

To be fair I was at work and stoned.

Thats no excuse!
