Ya know....I just thought of something.....this subject DOES fit for this Noise forum......in my case, it does anyway.

Let me explain.

Once I decided to do a second Indiana Noisefest, I went ahead and made a Facebook account. For years before that, I didn't give a fuck about that stuff since I was more focused on things like the old Napalm Death forum. Hell, getting my net turned on when I did led to a random as fuck happening that resulted in me seeing two bands that I had waited 12 to 14 years to see. (That was an amazing night)

So, yeah, I was online for a bit before I decided to be one of the mindless masses and get on Facebook. But, the sole reason why was due to the second show I was going to book. We did get 8 there from that. 3 were due to a webpage that was made by dude from Where's Uranus? I found that out when I was on a podcast talking about that.

But, now, with the way shit is going in this country and how Zuc is too busy blowing the Annoying Orange and just all of the fucking Christian Nationalist bullshit that I always see, rather than showing me posts from people I actually want to hear from, I just can't put up with this bullshit.

Fuck Zuc with a rubber duck. Quack quack like the new york ripper,yo!

My sole consolation of being nominally on that damnable website for the better part of twenty years is that I managed to squeeze a pretty good pizza dinner's worth of compensation out of them as part of a class action for doing God-knows-what with my (largely useless) personal information. I guess if we count Instagram then knowing when house shows are happening is some utility, but that's about it, all told.
