Another metal milk crate...
Going redo the wood and add some more doodads... this will probably go to Matt hex.

Re: Non Electronic Gear

Cage and fan with mics and pedals.
With one Mic and one pedal
Debating running straight from my tiny mixer to the p.a. or ruining it out of the little amp to the p.a....

Re: Non Electronic Gear
Built a contact mic'd contained surface (I released a toy on it when I played a set last night). Two piezo transducers for source, I stuck a tactile driver driven by a little 20 watt amplifier for return. I realize the amplifier leg classifies as electronic, but getting sound from this does not require power and in a pinch it can perform acoustically.

That is quite nice. Double bonus points for the finger jointing.crochambeau wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 9:22 am Built a contact mic'd contained surface (I released a toy on it when I played a set last night). You are not very far away from a plate reverb system.............
Which you should do.

A plate is on my list of things to do. I plan on going big (and not bending the edges). Thanks, the finger joints are quite sloppy on this, I was rushed, and am inspired to build a tablesaw sled to sort future builds that are planned. That said, they are press fit without glue, even though a few fingers suffered poor operator at the saw action.Indeterminacy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:01 pm That is quite nice. It was a hexbug, like one of these:
Did a good job of vibrating around, bumping its head on the walls and loudly righting itself when it fell over.
