Our local shop had bananas back in stock! Not seen them on the shelves in a while. Grabbed a bunch.

I'm doing ok but if this goes on too long ill have to unpack boxes of books I havent seen in a while just to get a fix.
Half Price Books has been having a bunch of sales to try to get people to order online more while their retail stores are closed. You can still order from Amazon, too, though it can take a few weeks depending on whether or not the item is coming from Amazon themselves.

I've ordered a couple since either some new books that I'm interested have come out, or ones that have been on my to-read list have dropped in price. One I got last week was "Cultural Decay Rate" by John David Ebert, which I've had on my wishlist for maybe a couple of years. Not that it's an expensive book, but I saw a copy go for ~30% what it's normally listed as and had to jump on it. (Though, the book itself makes me sort of wish I was rereading Apocalypse Culture)
I love half price books. Had a plan to take a 100 or so books to sell before this virus.

I like the smell and feel of books. I like being surprised at what I find on the shelf and I like finding neat books on the dollar shelf.
I prefer the real world experience...but...

Ordering online is ok for something specific and the online library I have to be careful that I don't check out more than I can read...hahaha I saved the book in my browser so I can read it after I return it and I just returned it right after I checked it out it so I can check out more books and save out in my browser...so yeah gotta not do that all the time. Stopped at 6 books, 2 books down started a 3rd one last night.

My OP was - I put the flanger is brackets.... but you seemed to hone on it.... I was under the impression that the HNW section was for that and not for Pat's problems?

Oh and checking this thread, lots posting about stuff not related to latest acquisitions, so my recent acquisition = a persecution complex, not really... only joking.

Wasn't asking. But I've no problem with HNW. Maybe people who aren't into the more conceptual side of noise do.

Anyway, 6 litres of wine, pork, lamb, joints chicken... 4 cans of Bud... should suffice until sometime next week? (not all for my consumption) To ST - here @ Asda masses of Bananas.... and as luck would have it Lesley being a sculptor has latex gloves and face masks... for working with resin, so should be more than OK?

Well its brewed in the UK, but I don't suppose its much different, I sometimes though like junk food, and junk beer. And junk movies, i'm watching 'The A Team', the movie at the moment in 20 minute chunks, and a glass of Bud seems to go with it.
