'''Interesting Experiments''' is the first album made by [[Dr. Failure]]. Interesting Experiments is a project that [[Dr. Failure]] started on in March 2016. At the time of the start, they took a Music Studio class in high school, which featured the usage of GarageBand. [[Dr. Failure]] decided to venture out and start looping sounds together, and in no time was creating tracks in the span of less than a day. The only conflict that arose was writing lyrics for all these songs. Some came easily, while others, they (as of July 13, 2024) have writer's block for. To have something released, they released all the instrumental tracks with the intent to come back later and publish the full version with vocals.

Dr. Failure's first solo show was not noise, but rather a show for their (still unreleased) debut release [[Interesting Experiments]] (hence the name). Despite not being a noise show, there were some aspects of the show that were noise-ish, or pulled from the Noise Culture, i.e. in their cover "Stuck in Here" by Filter, they used the effects in GarageBand to make a harsh noise outro, and we can't forget John Cage's 4'33", the epitome of "fuck you" music culture.

[[Dr. Failure]] had wanted to dabble with folk punk since they were a junior in high school. Initially trying with a duo called Yestermonth, they wrote lyrics, and their friend, Dalia, was supposed to fill in for guitar. Unfortunately, before they could record their first single, Dalia dropped out, leaving Yestermonth to fade to nothing. As a joke, [[Dr. Failure]] released [https://yestermonth.bandcamp.com/releases The Dalia Era], with one track titled "All The Tracks Dalia Helped With", and it's just 20 minutes of white noise.

Several years later, [[Dr. Failure]] attempted a solo folk punk project, [[Dr. Failure | $0 Life Insurance Policy]] where they intended to sing and play guitar, but they decided to hold off until they could get guitar lessons to at least play basic chords.

After they got out of their last class of the day, at around 9:00 p.m., they went straight to the studio to record this album, start to finish.

Born July 17, 2000, '''Dr. Failure''' is an artist of many sorts from Oxford, Mississippi. They're involved in multiple genres, but noise has struck a chord in their heart. They started doing noise in 2017 shortly after attending a noise show in Oxford, in late 2016, performed by [[SICKGRRL]], which sparked their interest in not only becoming a fan of the genre, but becoming a creator as well. In late January, early February 2017, they started creating videos and tracks of single-take, improvisational guitar jams which was their "start" in the noise world. In July 2017, on their 17th birthday, they released their debut noise album [[The Basement Above]], which was done only with generated white noise and other default tones available on Audacity, with some filter play added on top to make it unique. Between July 2017 and January 2018, they were still doing guitar jams with one "noise remix" album as an exception, [[Highway 666- The Devil's Noise]]. In January 2018, they started using a Rockville RPM109 mixer, and used no-input mixing as a method of doing noise, and this, for the most part, put an end to the days of improvisational guitar jams. Since, they've been a frequent publisher on [http://doctorfailure.bandcamp.com Bandcamp].

In 2020, Dr. Failure wanted to venture to even more genres and, while joining a band called "The Mannequins" in mid-2019, the bass player wanted to join Dr. Failure in "Vitaphobics Anonymous", a Stoner Doom Metal duo. The duo had planned several other projects together, such as MARYSKVNT and Vitaphobics Anonymous, but by 2021, Dr. Failure left Mississippi for Tennessee, and neither the Mannequins, Vitaphobics Anonymous, nor MARYSKVNT had any demo material produced by that time.

Between 2021 - 2023, Dr. Failure spent most of their time working to pay bills, abandoning their artistic passions to make ends meet, and fell out of touch with the artist within. After living like this for a while, it eventually led to a mental breakdown that served as fuel for them to power through the struggles to continue making art, realizing that this world needs more human-made art, and life would be rather purposeless if they didn't create shit. In 2023, they resumed their studies to study Commercial Songwriting at MTSU alongside making efforts to get more involved in making music and connecting with the local scene, which has led to a brighter mental outlook on life.

In 2024, they met a few musicians over the summer and formed [[Necromantic]], (insert details later as they come).

'''Something Else (EP - Instrumental)''' is [[Dr. Failure]]'s 4th non-noise album. The tracks were made in late 2016 shortly after the release of [[Interesting Experiments (Instrumentals)]] in September, 2016. [[Dr. Failure]] had planned on waiting until the vocals were finished on the EP before making a release, but since they borrowed a computer from high school, they didn't have the option to keep the files accessible, except by Google Drive, so they decided to upload the album's instrumental tracks until a later time, which never came because the school disabled the google account post-graduation, which destroyed all the project files. Let this be a lesson to store multiple backups of your unfinished projects that you have unlimited access to.

Interesting Demos is the second release by [[Dr. Failure]]. Before the release, they were working on the album [[Interesting Experiments]], when their vocal files got corrupted in GarageBand. Fortunately, they were able to salvage 8 tracks, and put them together in this demo album. Born July 17, 2000, '''Dr. Failure''' is an artist of many sorts from Oxford, Mississippi. They're involved in multiple genres, but noise has struck a chord in their heart. They started doing noise in 2017 shortly after attending a noise show in Oxford, in late 2016, performed by [[SICKGRRL]], which sparked their interest in not only becoming a fan of the genre, but becoming a creator as well. In late January, early February 2017, they started creating videos and tracks of single-take, improvisational guitar jams which was their "start" in the noise world. In July 2017, on their 17th birthday, they released their debut noise album [[The Basement Above]], which was done only with generated white noise and other default tones available on Audacity, with some filter play added on top to make it unique. Between July 2017 and January 2018, they were still doing guitar jams with one "noise remix" album as an exception, [[Highway 666- The Devil's Noise]]. In January 2018, they started using a Rockville RPM109 mixer, and used no-input mixing as a method of doing noise, and this, for the most part, put an end to the days of improvisational guitar jams. Since, they've been a frequent publisher on [http://doctorfailure.bandcamp.com Bandcamp].

In 2020, Dr. Failure wanted to venture to even more genres and, while joining a band called "The Mannequins" in mid-2019, the bass player wanted to join Dr. Failure in "Vitaphobics Anonymous", a Stoner Doom Metal duo. The duo had planned several other projects together, such as MARYSKVNT and Vitaphobics Anonymous, but by 2021, Dr. Failure left Mississippi for Tennessee, and neither the Mannequins, Vitaphobics Anonymous, nor MARYSKVNT had any demo material produced by that time.

Between 2021 - 2023, Dr. Failure spent most of their time working to pay bills, abandoning their artistic passions to make ends meet, and fell out of touch with the artist within. After living like this for a while, it eventually led to a mental breakdown that served as fuel for them to power through the struggles to continue making art, realizing that this world needs more human-made art, and life would be rather purposeless if they didn't create shit. In 2023, they resumed their studies to study Commercial Songwriting at MTSU alongside making efforts to get more involved in making music and connecting with the local scene, which has led to a brighter mental outlook on life.

Born July 17, 2000, '''Dr. Failure''' is an artist of many sorts from Oxford, Mississippi. They're involved in multiple genres, but noise has struck a chord in their heart. They started doing noise in 2017 shortly after attending a noise show in Oxford, in late 2016, performed by [[SICKGRRL]], which sparked their interest in not only becoming a fan of the genre, but becoming a creator as well. In late January, early February 2017, they started creating videos and tracks of single-take, improvisational guitar jams which was their "start" in the noise world. In July 2017, on their 17th birthday, they released their debut noise album [[The Basement Above]], which was done only with generated white noise and other default tones available on Audacity, with some filter play added on top to make it unique. Between July 2017 and January 2018, they were still doing guitar jams with one "noise remix" album as an exception, [[Highway 666- The Devil's Noise]]. In January 2018, they started using a Rockville RPM109 mixer, and used no-input mixing as a method of doing noise, and this, for the most part, put an end to the days of improvisational guitar jams. Since, they've been a frequent publisher on [http://doctorfailure.bandcamp.com Bandcamp].

In 2020, Dr. Failure wanted to venture to even more genres and, while joining a band called "The Mannequins" in mid-2019, the bass player wanted to join Dr. Failure in "Vitaphobics Anonymous", a Stoner Doom Metal duo. The duo had planned several other projects together, such as MARYSKVNT and Vitaphobics Anonymous, but by 2021, Dr. Failure left Mississippi for Tennessee, and neither the Mannequins, Vitaphobics Anonymous, nor MARYSKVNT had any demo material produced by that time.

Between 2021 - 2023, Dr. Failure spent most of their time working to pay bills, abandoning their artistic passions to make ends meet, and fell out of touch with the artist within. After living like this for a while, it eventually led to a mental breakdown that served as fuel for them to power through the struggles to continue making art, realizing that this world needs more human-made art, and life would be rather purposeless if they didn't create shit. In 2023, they resumed their studies to study Commercial Songwriting at MTSU alongside making efforts to get more involved in making music and connecting with the local scene, which has led to a brighter mental outlook on life.
