Tales About Digits is a totally anonymous harsh noise/harsh noise wall band formed in Michigan in late 2017. Their first four albums were released on June 17, 2018, each album being one continuous track. Tales About Digits appears to put more emphasis on making noise by manipulating existing recordings (movie clips, popular/semipopular music, clips of people talking on YouTube, etc.) than most other HNW artists. Their website states that they are one of very few bands, if any others exist, to compose and release four entire albums in one day, and that this feat can only be achieved in noise and other such experimental forms of music. Tales About Digits has over ten studio albums, and has appeared on split albums with Nightmare Park, KIRA, and Vomir.

Star651: creating user page

Hello, all of you NoiseWiki users, it's Star651, a.k.a. Tyler, the founder of experimental sound collage/plunderphonics band Mini Nifty! I may be the first totally blind user on this wiki! Now, I actually don't get a kick of the noisier artists who use the term HNW (harsh noise wall), but I believe that everyone has their own idea of music, and this website shows that freedom. However, there are some noise albums I appreciate, such as the early works of Negativland before they really went into sound collage territory. As far as artists who have articles on this wiki, I am a fan of System Essence, who themselves don't have an article on this wiki, but several of their tapes can be found in the Tales About Nothing catalogue, which I was surprised to see an article about on this wiki. Though the catalogue has a lot of harsh noise wall artists, System Essence fascinated me because of their use of ambient noise instead of harsh noise walls. However, I appreciate this wiki, even if I have to look through some harsh wall data in the process. As a user on this wiki, I plan to document some of the more popular noise in the world; everyone says, and I agree, that Boyd Rice is a noise artist, but he has no article on this wiki; with me as a member, this will hopefully change, if the admins allow it. I'm not sure if we're only allowed to write about our own bands, or if we can write about other things too. But because of albums like Deathsentences of the Polished and Structurally Weak, there should be an article about Negativland here. I think some albums by The Residents might even have some noisy qualities. The only thing that worries me about this wiki is that I'm afraid that people will insult me for not getting into harsh noise wall. All I can say is, if you're going to insult me, please accompany it with a comment on why someone should get into harsh noise wall. But as far as lighter, less static-based noise like Negativland and certain Brian Eno works, I can dig it! Even some of the early Boyd Rice was okay!
