Noisecore is essentially a condensed version of what grindcore was in the 80's. It usually consits of extremely short drums/vocals/guitar/bass songs with no actual song structures.

 Noisecore is a Hardcore Punk sub-genre that takes the already aggressive, usually short-length formula of Hardcore Punk and pushes it to its most chaotic, dissonant, and (sometimes) atonal limits. As with traditional Hardcore Punk, songs are usually quite short (usually a minute or less, rarely (if ever) pushing beyond the two minute mark), and aggression in the performance is at maximum levels (and attitudes are often rebellious in nature), but the riffing, basslines, and drumming are much sloppier and act as blasts of noise moreso than offering traditional Hardcore riffage stylings and whatnot (although even then, some Noisecore can be rather minimalistic, with such variations and vocals & guitar only and vocals & drums only popping up every now and then). Originating in the early 1980s, Noisecore has seen many variations over the next few decades, some being closer to traditional Hardcore, others being closer to Metal (particularly Grindcore, which also pushed Hardcore's template to extremes in ways similar to Noisecore, albeit with more tonality and unlike Noisecore, being just as influenced by Metal (particularly Thrash Metal) as it is by Hardcore (particularly Thrashcore)), some being closer to straight-up Noise music. Variations also apply to lyrical content; as with Grindcore, topics can range from strongly political to gross-out to offensively misanthropic to absurdly abstract (or it can just be a bunch of absolute gibberish).
